Dnd Notes 03-12-23 B-Team

  • We head to Our Lady of the Perpetual Flame to cure Ungvar of whatever disease he is suffering
  • We see a large group of people lined up going into an alley, Ungvar asks a bum about it and it seems to be for Jimco's restaurant
  • Yeedra mentions that the nearby temple to Bahamut might have a portal that we could use to reach the Vampire at the Necropolis of Nykkar
  • Infaris disguises herself as a monk worshiper of Bahamut
  • A monk stops us and we are able to convince him that Infaris is leading a group of converts from Valhaven on a pilgrimage to see the teleportation circle
  • At the back of the temple there is a giant statue (which does not have boobs) that seems to be glowing
  • Vapor spots a bird on the statue, he levitates up to push it, which triggers a lever and causes the statue to move revealing a portal beneath it
  • Infaris is able to manipulate the runes to point the portal towards Necropolis of Nykkar and jump through
  • We emerge in the desert amist a battle between an Orc war party and some shades
  • We decide to join in and help the orcs
  • Vapor casts lightning bolt which lights something on fire just beneath the sand which reveals a chamber beneath
  • The orcs mention that their entire clan was wiped out by the vampire while they were out hunting (The Kutamed Tribe of Zrummud Stronghold)
  • The clansmen give Ungvar the shield of Obuld in trade for a bunch of spears and daggers
  • Infaris uses gust to reveal the burnt trap door. There are spikes down below but there seems to be a larger room as well
  • Infaris blesses her coconuts so they have holy water in it
  • Ungvar lights a stick of dynamite to blow the hole open even further
  • Infaris tosses down a coconut then Vapor uses Control Water to expand the water and flood the place with holy coconut water
